Bodily Injury Liability covers an injury that you may cause to another person, as a result of an automobile accident, that is determined to be you fault. This person may be a pedestrian or a passenger in your car, or in another car, involved in the accident.
Most states require a minimum level of bodily injury liability coverage. State Minimums are often too low to cover someone (or more than one person), if they become seriously injured.
